A few weeks ago, my boyfriend Alec and I took a trip to Portugal. Partly for business, partly for pleasure. We drove along the coast, visited ceramics factories, ate tons of fish and chugged Vino Verde like it was going out of style.
The highlight of the trip, and one of my favorite places I've visited ever was the small island of Baleal. It is more of a peninsula than an island with a single lane road connecting it to the mainland.
From nearly every vantage point on the island you could simultaneously see beaches, surfers, rock cliffs and vibrant colored homes.
It was the ideal location for eating edibles and running around with a camera.
